COLOR-MATCHED METAL ROOF FASTENERS

Our metal roofing panels are fastened with color matching screws to ensure the best possible appearance. Our fasteners are designed with an enhanced corrosion resistant coating and use a self-sealing neoprene washer to prevent leaks.

METAL OR SHINGLES – SAME PRICE

Give your shed & backyard landscape an upgraded look with our 29-gauge metal roof, available in a wide array of colors and backed by a 30-year limited warranty. OR...match your home’s roof for looks or for HOA compliance using our residential grade architectural shingles, available in commonly used colors.

DOUBLE STUDDED AT SIDING SEAMS

We double the wall studs wherever our T1 - 11 siding has a seam, so that both sections of siding will have a full stud width to be fastened to. This prevents edge tear - outs on the siding and strong adhesion that will stand up to strong winds and years of use.

RING-SHANKED & GALVANIZED NAILS

Exposed nails are ring-shanked and galvanized for rust prevention. Ring-shank nails have twice the withdrawal strength of smooth-shank nails. The rings around the nail shank lock into each groove along the shank, resulting in a nail that holds tight despite extreme wind or cyclical moisture conditions.

4x6“ TREATED & NOTCHED SKIDS

Our 4x6” pressure treaded skids resist rotting and are notched at 12” or 16” on center to ensure consistent floor joist spacing. Recessing and toenailing the joists in the notches lock them in place ensures the shed can be loaded, unloaded, and moved repeatedly without any warping or racking of the floor system.

DIAMOND-PLATE DOOR THRESHOLD

The diamond-plate door threshold cap creates a solid step that can handle constant abuse from foot traffic and equipment wheels. It prevents wear and tear on the exposed edges of the floor decking at the entrance of the shed...ensuring years of use without cracking, splintering, or delaminating.

DOUBLED TOP PLATE

We use double top plates to help intersecting walls lock together and to help support the load from roof trusses.This is especially important to prevent sagging when roof truss and wall stud spacing differ and the truss lines up between two studs.

But the differences don’t end with the quality of the construction. We back that up with material and construction warranties, a variety of purchase and rental options, FREE delivery and set-up within 30 miles of your local dealer, and Engineer Certification for ground snow load and wind load. We can even supply engineered plans for a small fee that will satisfy municipal inspectors.

Engineer Certified buildings are certified for Ground Snow Load and Wind Load as defined by local requirements (once customer supplied anchors are installed). A standard set of engineered plans are available upon request after purchase of a building. We employ a full-time engineer for quick turnaround for custom plans or builds. Have confidence that your shed will meet local codes.

FREE DELIVERY & SET-UP

Our experienced delivery drivers provide a hassle-free, efficient delivery experience. There is no site preparation necessary if the location is no more than 3ft out of level in any direction. Our free delivery and set up must be within 30 miles of the sales lot and includes leveling up to 3 feet with customer supplied concrete blocks and driver supplied pressure treated shims. Over 30 miles additional charges apply. Leveling blocks can be purchased from the driver, if needed.

Because we built our own system, you can be sure the building you design is the building you’ll get. To take that even further, this design has been beefed up even further with 2x6” Floor Joists and DOUBLED ¾” Engineered Tongue and Groove Flooring so that it’ll handle heavier equipment loads. Combined with 16” On Center Trusses, 8ft of Loft and Full Width Shelves…this portable garage is a beast.

This 12’x20’ Utility Shed with Side Porch Package includes 8ft Walls, a 4ft deep Porch with a Post and Railing on the short side, a 9-lite House Door, two 2’x3’ Single Pane Windows and Double Barn Doors. Also included on this custom design is a third 2’x3’ Single Pane Window, a Workbench just inside the house door, Full Width Shelves along the back wall and 6” Front and Back Roof Overhangs to give it a little extra visual appeal.
